Full Metal Alchemist is almost over!? (Spoilers)

!!!

I knew this day would come eventually but I didn’t think it would be so soon. The 2nd to last chapter has been released and the manga will conclude at 108 chapters. I’m like 6 episodes behind on Brotherhood but mostly since I was up to date with the manga and I knew what happens anyway. But yea damn….Ed gets his arm back, Al reunites with his soul and the father of the homonculus getting his ass beaten down by Ed. Pretty exciting chapter. Can’t wait for the grand finale!

the “best” anime of 2009

Well since apparently JP’s 2008 post was popular I figured we should do one for 2009. Obviously this is mostly opinion based (at least from my stand point) but this year I think it’s better than both of us contribute to the 2009 year in review. Continue reading

Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood – 23

"I see...I've fallen in love with him."

"I see...I've fallen in love with him."

And well we all know Ed likes Winry, I mean after all he’s been rejected by her “once” but now he’s getting taller so she’s all like “ooh yea baby”. Hooray for the anime series not cutting corners for Ed x Winry :D In other news,  Shin asked me last week what ever happened to the loli:

She's back just for ya.

She's back just for ya.

Gluttony is so gross lol. He’s turned into a giant mouth next episode. I may have to start backlogging FMA since there’s not gonna be any new EdWin scenes for a while.

Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood – 16

YEA HANDHOLDING

YEA HANDHOLDING

I finally caught up on this series. I’ve been like weeks and weeks behind because let’s face it, I read the manga, I kinda know what happens. It’s great seeing the plot move before your eyes knowing that it’s actually following the story. I didn’t check the full cast so I was surprised to hear that Ling was voiced by Miyano Mamoru. Also the one thing that the first series failed to touch upon is Roy and Riza (or maybe its Liza since Elizabeth). I know I’m scraping the bottom of the barrel now but I’m actually excited for any upcoming scenes of the two of them. In the meantime I’ll have to enjoy my EdWin stuff. :)
