Clannad -After Story- Kyou DVD Special

The final Clannad DVD was released which contained the Kyou story special. Kyou is the only female in Clannad who I approve besides Nagisa. The rest of them can go to hell In Kyou’s story I honestly hated Ryou. I mean watching this episode doesn’t seem so bad, but when you play the ENTIRE GAME with Ryou until the end you realize how much Kyou is hurt I seriously just wanted to punch her in face. I forgave her later on in the Kappei arc (which I guess we’ll never see animated). Too bad for Sunohara though, assuming that we’re in Tomoya x Nagisa land, I think he should end up with Kyou anyway, it would be so cute! xDDDD

I do wish Kyouto Animation’s animation was…more fluid like it was 3 years ago. Now everything feels like it was drawn quickly in photoshop or something and slapped together with some botched backgrounds.

Bye bye oji-san ｡ﾟﾟ(ﾉ´д｀ヾ｡)ﾟﾟ｡

The part with Tomoya visiting his father was the most depressing one of the episode. Once again I cried, just like I did in the game. It’s great to see him finally going home to live with his mother and stop “trying so hard” but it’s also depressing at the same time because he was pretty miserable throughout the entire Clannad series. Just thinking back makes me cry too, so no Tomoya, you weren’t the only one bawwwing this week. Otherwise, for once I didn’t mind the Fuuko scene. It was well fit and her hugging Ushio was hillarious lol. Don’t worry Fuuko, if I saw Ushio in real life I might be tempted to do the same. Btw I hope you all know who Ushio’s kindergarten teacher is

Chibi-Nagisa

Man Tomoya is such a jerk and it’s so much more prevalent when you see it in anime form. “I managed to poop on my own!” “That’s great Ushio now go away.”  Although in all honesty, she’s 5 years old, if by 5 years old you can’t go pooping on your own there’s something wrong. Ugh I know this is supposed to be a happy episode and stuff but watching it makes me further depressed. If next week is the arc about Tomoya’s dad I’m gonna be bawwwing again. T_T In other news, I love how 5 years later Tomoya still looks like he’s 17, and Sanae still looks like a milf, despite now being a gilf.

Clannad After Story 16

Ugh go away lump in my throat. I’m hoping that there is the “alternative” ending. I mean there has to be. We’re only on episode 16. There’s plenty of time to give us a happy ending. I find it hard to believe that we will get a sad ending considering how KyoAni made a joke of half of this series. I will not be depressed, I will pretend this episode was just a “run through the game required for the good end.”
