I marathoned a bunch of new dramas last night and…
Ouran High School Host Club – A lot better than I thought. I really like the actors for Tamaki & Kyouya, just as the actors themselves. I don’t think they’re LIKE the anime/manga chars that much, but I like their acting so I’ll probably keep up with this.
Ikemen Desu ne! – A drama about a nun who becomes a cross dressing singer and when they find out she’s a chick, love triangles ensue. I’m loving it lol. This is based on a Korean drama but I never watched the KR one so as a first time viewer I like this one a lot.
Arakawa Under the Bridge – Well I never bothered with the anime and the drama might be a bit too weird for my tastes….but I just love the guy who acts as Riku…he was that nice guy in Shokojo Seira..he looks so much hotter playing a salaryman lol. I’ll check out a few more episodes before deciding whether or not to continue.
Kingyou Club – This seems very slice of lifey but I feel like the romance aspect might be interesting! It really focuses on bullying and all that jazz which I don’t really like but the drama has at least piqued my interest.
Anyway these are probably the dramas I’ll be watching this season so I recommend giving them a look.

Wow, Ikemen desu ne?? I thought they were just going to sub the Korean version and air it in Japan. I didn’t think they would actually make their own version. o.o didn’t hear about this until now —— (10 minutes later) And judging from what I just saw of it, they’re copying the K version very closely. A lot of the scenes look the same.

Haha! Finally I find someone who knows the actor from Shokojo Seira and shares my opinion! xD He was also pretty hot in that mega-depressing terminal illness drama “Mioka”. — I tried “Arakawa Under the Bridge” but it’s waaaaaay too weird for me. I can’t believe they wasted Oguri Shun and Yamada Takayuki on this!
Ikemen Desu Ne — I found the kdrama amusing, but too long (16 episodes is too much for my sanity). But the lead actor was much more… male… than this one (playing Ren, I think). I look at him and keep seeing a BABY CHIC! I just cannot unsee!
Ouran… I just can’t accept it. It’s just one of those things that can’t translate well into drama. And I hate the actress playing Haruhi.
You should watch “Zenkai Girl”. I love it! A real badass heroine!

Btw… Hinano, are you still reading “Soul Eater”? I never had the patience to actually read it (I’m more into shoujo/josei manga) but I really enjoyed reading your posts about the Soul/Maka OTP. I’m curious to know if there’s been any developments!
Sadly soul eater is all boring fighting crap now… Not as interesting as it was before. I can’t even tell where the manga is going anymore lol.
I tried zenkai girl but all the baby/children crap just made me rage and gross out lol so I didnt even make it through the first episode xD
