It’s one of the only ‘historic’ things left that I feel I -should- watch, but can’t bring myself to, especially since I’ve already absorbed what happens and how it ends through the sheer will of existing on the internet.
Also, the last few ‘great’ old mecha shows basically traumatized me.
Yea I guess it’s true – if I were to watch Eva now I’d probably roll my eyes It’s one of those “this is my first anime back in the day” kind of shows I guess

well Eva was my first anime lol so I remembered this episode… it’s probably one of the only few animes I watched more than once back in the day
@Hinano I am shocked that a mecha was your first anime. Not enough blushing or glasses. Cowboy Bebop was mine.
I would not have recognized this scene without the sidebyside. Ah… memories. Now I feel old.
well if we get technical sailor moon was my first anime but I dunno it was a dub so I didn’t count it in xD
Pokemon and DBZ were my first I guess. Love Hina was the first non dubbed for me lol
