what i was (not) forced to watch this week #15: patlabor tv

Originally, I was just going to watch Patlabor 2, since it’s a Mamoru Oshii movie. But then I was told that if I like giant robots as I claim to, I’d better watch all of Patlabor, starting with the TV series, then the OVAs, and then finally the movies. So since this was a 4 cours series, it took a bit longer than usual to finish.

Yosuga no Sora – 04

So my friend has informed me Yosuga is gonna be split into arcs like Amagami which means characters aren’t gonna fight over Haru and kill each other.

P.S. The censoring was so lol. Actually I think I am enjoying the nico comments on the episodes more than I am enjoying any of the shows this season :lol: Reminds me of the time when I watched Rosario  to Pantsu.

So after watching 4 episodes of OreImo, I’ve come to the conclusion that Kirino is a stupid fucking bitch. That’s right I’m watching this show because I like watching anime relating to otaku crap (I should go watch that eroge god anime now right?) but I’m getting quite sick of her bitchy antics. I don’t watch this show because I want to see her brother land on top of her and grab her titties. I watch it because Kuroneko is fucking awesome, Kyosuke is moe (actually more like Nakamura Yuuichi’s voice is moe) and Saori is win de gozaru.

Dr. DoLittle – 01

Umm yea so apparently Japan decided to make Dr. DoLittle into a Japanese drama. Unfortunately unlike the original movie, the drama is all srs bzness and our Dr. DoLittle is a hard ass guy whose done some hard livin’ in his days so he only is fueled by money. Additionally he can’t actually talk to animals but he can “hear their cries for help.” Really it’s just an excuse to get these 2 actors who couldn’t get shipped in Hana Yori Dango, to instead be shipped in  this drama. I admit I am tempted but this drama is just way too much! I’m not sure how much of this cheese I can handle, and well seeing injured nukos breaks my heart so I don’t think I will last too long on this one.　(´･ω･`；)

Q10 – 01

Get ready because the fall drama season is coming right at ya’! Q10 (Kyuto) is basically the drama version of chobits minus all the random pr0n, minus the moe + a bunch of fugly noob actors. In otherwords, its like gender reversed Zettai Kareshi. Kyuto Karen (as she is randomly named) is a robot that some school principal randomly finds on the street in the garbage. Before they can do anything with it, a high school boy stumbles upon it and activates it by pressing a button in its mouth (well I suppose that beats the vagoo with Chii :lol: ). Takeru names it Q10 because that’s what it said on the robot’s foot. Takeru also has a heart condition since he was young and his friend is dying from it too. So I guess we’re gonna get more drama than humor in this and well I guess I find Kyuto more annoying than “funny” or charming. I don’t know if its  the way she speaks or if it’s her voice or what but I really want to smack her stupidity/naivette or whatnot most of the time. Not sure how far I’ll get with this drama especially since next episode Takeru’s all like “baby…I’m in love..with a robot.” :roll:
