So lately I’ve gotten back into the habit of reading completed shoujo mangas (or any other romance mangas that some person recommends on MAL 
) I decided to pick up something called Yoru Made Matenai, which since it was scanlated by shoujo magic gave me a feeling it was gonna be kinda randy.
Well it was.
Unlike series like Kanokon where there’s shota rape, or any Shinjo Mayu series where some older bishie has his way with the younger girl…this series actually features a randy shota who likes the older girl! I mean the manga also tosses in some gay gaijin and a randy loli but the story begins with a 6th grader who has a crush on his new step sister who’s 6 years older than him. I didn’t know 6th graders could be this horny but whatever
The good part is at least he doesn’t usually look like a shota and as the manga progresses he does get taller so at least sometimes you forget that yea he’s prolly like 12 and she’s like 18 lol. Anyway whatever it had lots of fluff and kissing and hawtness so I’ll just pretend they’re all the same age 
I never thought I’d like this kind of manga but actually it was pretty good! Yea the girl’s kind of a doormat but hey at least she’s not like raped by every single guy like in your typical Shinjo Mayu work.
They do end up doing it at the end and there’s a lot of stripping going on (no actual visible nudidity though) so be forwarned. Otherwise I definitely recommend this smutty shoujo manga ;D

Her latest work, Honey Hunt, isn’t much better. I had hoped the heroine had more of a spine than Hatsumi, but alas, her initial spark seems to have died in the face of bishounen smex. *sigh* Oh well, at least she’s not getting raped all the time.

Well, there are three main guys in Honey Hunt. None of them are evil bastards, or rapists, but the heroine is still annoyingly weak-willed. A step up from Hatsumi, but not much. Basically there’s the nice guy who likes that Yura’s a wimp, the calculating older guy, and the tsundere-boy. The annoying part being that Yura’s in love with the guy who likes that she’s wimpy and clingy, while the other two like seeing her when she’s stronger. But naturally she lets the first guy lead her around because he’s “nice.” Except that he wants her to give up her career to be his arm-candy 24/7.
Yeah, I’ll go back to Skip Beat.

Anyway, I remember reading this and wondering what was the *point* of making him 12, if he acts 35 all the time? Honestly, ignoring the heights, he’syour typical shoujo-manga-way-too-expereinced-for-his-age-bishounen. The whole point of younger boys is them being *younger*, i.e. less experienced.
Also the situation were really too moronic for me to like, it was like K-ON with smut. DELEEEEETE.
(Skip Beat kinda got too romance-centered lately, too. Shoujo manga is dying, people.)

The “love interest” guy is boring (and oooold), the childhood-lost-friend thing is lame, and our heroin is oblivious to love. That does not make for a very interesting romance. I’d rather just follow Kyoko’s career.
