Since I only managed to get about one-third of the way into this one back when it aired, I had a bit of a slog ahead of me this time. There is really only one thing to really say about He Is My Master: it’s strictly worse than Mahoromatic in almost every way. It is less funny (I didn’t even have any scenes where I laughed while cursing at how I could feel my brain cells dying; surprisingly a perverted lolicon otaku alligator is less funny in practice than one would assume), the characters are much more hateable, and it doesn’t even have uncensored nudidity. Why “almost” every way? Two reasons. The first is no Minawa. The second?
Would I watch it even if I weren’t forced? KYAAAAAAAAAAAAH THEY GET MARRIED AT THE END ｡ﾟ:;｡+ﾟ☆(///ω///)★ﾟ+｡::ﾟ｡:.ﾟ｡
…Oh wait, my bad. They don’t actually get married. At least it provided some useful AMV footage.
I could’ve sworn you already did this one for your forced to watch segment. anyway the general concensus is that he is my master is horrid.
I nearly died for a heart attack when JPMeyer wrote what I thought was the ending of the series, I haven’t seen it even when I have the DVDs and that could ruined the “fun”.
Horrible, horrible anime.
I watched the first episode. Noone can force me to watch more than that of this show. I’m not sure horrible cuts it.
A suggestion if you’d like to keep this feature going…when Hinano runs out of things to subject yourself to, maybe take suggestions from blog readers. But if you’ve suffered enough, that’s completely understandable.
And there’s one show striked off my ‘I should watch someday’ list.
Yeah, my intention was to shift to “what I was finally able to watch of my own choice this week” afterwards
It does on the DVD version of the last episode, if I’m recalling correctly.
I actually kind of like this show, and I’ve got absolutely no idea why.
Here’s how to enjoy this show in three easy steps:
1. Get totally wasted.
2. Turn off subtitles and audio.
3. Shout “BOOBEEZ!” whenever you see them, take a cough drop when needed.
It worked for me, really, I love this show.
That is actually more or less how I watch fanservice shows.
