This sucks, I don’t really feel like reading Naruto anymore because the only amusing character has now died. Also seeing Danzo’s past doesn’t make me feel any pity for him; also Kishimoto needs to stop recycling the “2 best friend rivals” theme. Did he have a best friend rival who died or something cause that’s what this manga has pretty much boiled down to.

Did Danzo’s last attack swallow up Karin’s body? I thought Danzo limped away for a bit and took out the middle of the bridge, and Karin’s body was lying near the two columns. Lol maybe Sakura will find Karin and heal her back up? A very long shot at this point.
I’m actually really surprised that Kishi actually killed off Karin…..now wonder if he’ll kill off Sakura next to properly cement the SasuNaru end.

The Naruto plot dynamic was never terribly complex. Naroodo’s the redeemer hero (anime befriend style), so Sahsghey has to fall from grace thoroughly so that he can be the final redeeming challenge. That’s why Sarske gets so much screen time: to show how totally sithlord he’s become.
Is a recurring theme (rival friends) a strange thing? Without some recurring themes it would be hard to keep a manga this long cohesive (which is not to say that it is cohesive).
I can answer the last question: Morbid curiosity. We’re all just watching the city burn now.

The only chance sakura would have of killing sasuke if she used the sexy no jutsu, but that would be silly…………..because she don’t do/have jutsu. Was hoping for someone to slap the taste out her mouth for being foolhardy, but thats too much to ask in Naruto.
Maybe Karin might still be alive and will eventually help Naruto in reclaiming Sasuke’s kokoro.

I’m still reading Naruto and I enjoy it very much. It’s not quite as good as One Piece right now, but that’s like saying Karpov is not quite as good of a chess-player as Kasparov during their primes. I like Sasuke’s character because he is a genius and acts like one. His emotional intelligence is low, but his technical prowess in ninja skills is unparalleled. I predict he’s going to the new big bad after Tobi dies.

i wholeheartly disagree with that passage. While sasuke is a genius he doesn’t care about it(only in the fight against naruto) Before the kage summit meeting, Madara told him that Naruto is probably stronger than him and he didn’t care one iota. Revenge is his only care.
you make him sound like gray from fairy tail in terms of his techique manipulation. He’s good , but not jesus level(jesuke level) yet. Also a discredit to the real top ninjas who schooled our young master at technique 101 at the kage summit, heck he wasn’t as good as deidara. don’t confuse it with luck.
