So as of today, Minaide Hitorigoto turns 1 year old. Obviously if we go back to when JP and I first began blogging we’d already be headed for our 4th blogging anniversaries but this is the one year since our team blog has been created!
Anyway let’s look at some blog statistics for the year:
Top Referrer: Animenano! Funny enough, the 2nd top referrer is google reader. Man google reader is fun these days, like who needs chat or forums when you can all spam each other in the comments section!
Top 5 Search Engine Terms:
jphinano
ex fansubber (wry? come on guys!)
best anime of 2008/best anime 2008 (I count this as 1 since it’s pretty much the same thing)
mei-chan no shitsuji
atashinchi no danshi
I guess not too many people blog about jdramas since these end up being what people find our blog the most by. Funny too since my drama comments don’t get too many commenters, telling me most drama watchers are in fact lurkers
Top 5 Most Popular Posts:
the “best” anime of 2008
Mei-chan no Shitsuji 9-10
About
Queens Blade season 2 has got everyone talking
And so, we have returned.
So what I can conclude from this is 1) everyone loves to know about us 2) everyone loves titties 3) everyone loves mei-chan no shitsuji and 4) our first post ever got a ton of hits that somehow outbeat every other post ever written lol.
I’m sure JP will be doing another best anime of 2009 although I plan to shove in there my opinion for once since last year I was too busy blogging about Pangya to do so. Oh well here’s hoping we can last another year. Anime blogging’s starting to become a real drag as well, and if you look at ourside bar you can see that we do watch a good amount of shows that we don’t blog about (like Kimi ni Todoke and Fairy Tail.) The anime selection has been getting poorer and poorer with shows only now focusing on DVD/merchandise sales than to produce a good quality story. I realized this when we watched Princess Tutu not too long ago, that yes indeed, there WERE the good old days.
Anyway thanks everyone for reading and sticking with us all this time, including the times when we were on Minaide Hazukashii and Animeblogger.net. Here’s to another year!
Wohoo! Happy birthday to the blog! XD
Keep on posting about dramas! That’s the reason why I keep visiting! =P
Happy Anniversary ! and thank you for reviving my interests in dramas, I was missing those wacky Japanese shows ^^.

Happy Anniversary and congratulations on making it a whole year after what probably would have been an understandable time to quit if you really wanted to get out. lol
Thanks for all the post that you two have made. they are fun to read.
Happy Anniversary!!
Hopefully you won’t quit blogging just yet, though my interest on anime is dissapearing, but I’ll totally keep reading. xD
Happy Anniversary! It’s always a pleasure to read your commentary and giggle madly at the amount of times you’ve used your wacky tags
Happy Anniversary
thanks everyone
Good job staying alive. You were always good at finding stuff to enjoy writing about.
And don’t worry about anime getting worse. There will be good anime as long as J.C.Staff doesn’t go out of business.
Happy anniversary! Your blog has allowed me to laugh over and then avoid many a crappy show ^_^
Happy Anniversary, Hinano-nee and JP aniki!
Congrats! Cheers to another year!
