Over 9000 jokes aside, bye bye Selveria. Actually I kinda feel sorry for her. She died for that faggot and all he can do is say “oh well I coulda used her some moar.” I feel sorry for the shota who defended her, but maybe he has a chance to catch up to her in heaven or something. I’m glad that that stupid fat army captain got wiped out though, if I had to hear his fat ass talking one more freaking time… The whole Darks (Darukusu?) native being the princess was pretty surprising though. Didn’t see that one coming. Next week:
JP shared this on google reader but I didn’t see too many people talking about it. New York Anime Festival and New York Comic Con are gonna all happen in one day in 2010 at the Javitz Center. I mean both events are already getting fairly crowded as it is on their own but combining the two? I mean it’s technically a good idea because now all those anime people who go to NYCC can just stick to the NYAF side. On the other hand a lot of underage lolis and shotas go to NYAF – and they will have a double pass allowing them to walk into the NYCC area and see some bare naked ladies in the comic section It’s gonna be interesting. I kinda wanna go just to see if a brawl starts between some ghostbusters and code geass cosplayers xD We’ll see I guess, for now we need to get working on the panel for this year’s convention ^^;;;
It’s expected that when you’re doing any kind of adaptation, you’re going to need to make changes. Sometimes it’s stuff that only works in one medium as opposed to the other, but usually it’s just trying to make the material fit into the new timeframe imposed by the other medium. Black Cat cuts a 20 volume manga series down to 23 episodes, so naturally there need to be a lot of cuts.
Actually this was a really good and serious episode. It had important scenes and flashbacks regarding Scar and Winry’s parents that the original series sorta skipped over. Don’t mind me though, I’ve been impatiently waiting for this Ed x Winry scene for a month now :>
The Onion AV Club has done a two-part staff Q&A series on movie cliches that they loathe and love. Inspired by the “love” half (besides, we’ve got a million posts here already about the cliches we hate), here are the anime cliches that I love:
#1 and #2: “Nobody could survive that!” and the “forbidden technique” that hurts the hero more than the villain, but is the only way to defeat him
ARGHH BITCH WHY WON’T YOU GO AWAY!!! (*`Д´)ノ And the worst part is in the 2nd pic Naoki then placed his hand on hers!! You’re supposed to push her away so that she falls into the danm puddle! *rages* At least Mai and Shuuji are finally going out. Their little “if I make this shot will you go out with me” scenario was really cute. I mean hell Naoki and Riko at the beginning were adorable bakas….THEN THE SLUT RUINS IT ALL. Also Sailor Venus is a slut too sleeping with Yoyogi and then saying she’s not ashamed of it. I mean way to uphold the “Cheerleaders are sluts” stereotype guys! Sighh hopefully next week Riko can kick Naoki’s ass for being an indecisive faggot.
Ok so for reasons unknown this show took like a 3 week break then finally raws began appearing last week so I caught up on 18 an 19. I’m really starting to like Carl (and not because I’m biased towards Fukuyama Jun.) He’s like “but our fathers are enemies!” and Kajika’s all like “BUT I WANT TO BE UR FRIEND!!!11″ and then he’s like…. O///O! *gasps blushes and runs away* So yea I’m totally in for Carl, too bad I already know who Kajika will end up with lol. I mean I liked Li Ren and all but after that gay episode with Rumatie I just can’t take him seriously. I mean in the scene above Kajika’s about to strip him naked and he resists! Well maybe she would have succeeded if it wasn’t for that cockblocking maid.
Najela is a fucking bitch. Everytime I see her stupid face or hear her speak I want to shove a splintered board into her mouth. Why is everyone in Rumatie’s family a fucking annoying little shit? When is this stupid arc gonna end. Need moar Carl! Well Carl is good, but need less of his tranny sisters.
Fall season is the season of sequels…perhaps some we don’t really want to see. It’s sad to say but I find myself not wanting to blog shows I actually LIKE. I mean if I like it, less to complain about, less people give a crap. (It’s obvious you all just wanna see me rage ) I’m still watching Hanasakeru Seishounen and since that show skipped like 3 weeks of air time it’ll be going well into the fall (and possibly winter) seasons. Thanks to Kabitzin for doing his preview because I’m too lazy to look it up on moonphase. Continue reading
