YEA HUGGING IN BED!
This may come as a surprise to everyone, but in fact Phantom is actually my 2nd favorite show this season after Higashi no Eden. No really! I mean I said there would be romance in this show and what do we get at the end of this episode? “I won’t hand you over to the organization. The only one who can protect you is me!” If you’re a shipping nut like me why AREN’T you watching this show?? It’s like so blatantly obvious! Once Zwei, real name Reiji, finds out his real name from his passport he remembers all the events prior to the brainwashing. He realizes he cannot go back to his old life because of how many people he killed. However all that changes once Ein randomly begins to shoot allies, not sure why though. Now the organization wants her dead and if Reiji takes her side, he will be busted as well. At the end of the episode he decides to run away with her, after successfully removing a bullet wound from her body using a hand knife.
Sadly it doesn’t look like their attempt at running away succeeds but I mean I actually wanna know what happens! This is like really exciting, seriously why isn’t anybody watching this show? Put your BeeTrain prejudice in a box cause this is one of the better shows this season!
> This is like really exciting, seriously why isn’t anybody watching this show?
Because everyone is too busy watching Haruhi for the 50th time.
Well, maybe it’s because people who’ve played the VN refuse to watch it because of obvious comparison biases, and on its own, it feels too much like a second-rate hollywood production movie.
Truthfully the series isn’t as horrid as it could have been because at the very least, it’s still sticking to the main events in the VN. I’m watching it because it has yet to cover my favorite arc, and Zwei has yet to grow the balls he did in the game (He became confident in a Kannagi Kazuma from Kaze no Stigma kind of way if you’ve seen that anime).
My two favorite shows, too. This was a great episode.
Bees on a train and bad@$$ @$$@$$ins 4 ya
My two favorite shows, as well.
I’ve pretty much liked every single episode and each week I’m looking forward to the next one. It’s such a pity that more people aren’t watching it.
I love Zwei, he is a hot piece of man candy. xD
I’m expecting him to be even cooler now that he’s going to protect Ein.
beetrain rocks!! XDD i luv this show, jsut gets better and better ! XD
I never played the VN so I’m watching it with fresh eyes
It’s one of my favorites shows this season. I can’t make comparisons because I’ve never seen other Bee Train’s Animes
The source is phenomenal.
However, this anime is mediocre. I’ve never seen another BeeTrain show before, but if the crap cinematography (particularly with regard to action shots) and second rate animation are indications of their usual quality, I’ll steer clear of their previous works. If not for the awesome source, this show would be garbage.
The script is also a bit stilted and pedestrian, but given the difficulty of adapting a visual novel, I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt.
The title just scares the crap out of me. I don’t want to get bummed out if Ein gets killed.
This talk of kissing scenes sent me back to look at the last episode of Toradora. They are in that room at the grandparents house and Taiga starts some of the most romantic dialog I’ve ever heard leading to the big kiss scene. “…so rough but so very, very, warm.”
i love this, probaly my 3rd favorite with sengoku basara then eden .
It was like, out of the frying pan and into the fire From one dom woman to another.
i just don’t get clo, why is she obsessed with him?
the only thing apart from wanting his 3rd leg is that in a flashback earlier in the series it looked like there was a young blonde asassian surronded by dead bodies so that could of been herself so she can relate to zwei’s situation.
oh by the way tv show in england called feasts had a hour show on another foreigner trying to understand the psyche of the japanese by getting involved in their customs and festival.Won’t spoil it for you, but Kanamara Matsuri plays a part.
