An experiment.

comic4-28
I haven’t drawn any comics like this since my time at college, doing them for the weekly paper. Didn’t really try too hard on this one because as fellow comicers have shown me that humor is more important than art quality anyway

  1. Poor JP :p It made me laugh, I think it’d be even more hilarious to see you interacting with characters you hate and/or beating them to a pulp :3

  2. haha, poor JP. Sounds like a good experiment and your art looks good, so I’m looking forward to the rest.

  3. Humor probably is usually second to production values, yes. Look at Akikan, that shit was brilliant ^_^

Anyway, I too anxiously await the visual representation of pure rage.

  4. Wow, that was freakin’ hilarious. Thanks for the giggle! Can’t wait to see more of this. =]

  5. Well, at least it wasn’t a Tomahawk, or else we’d have JP everywhere.

Also, noting the ahoge I think I’m going to have to coin the nickname “Hinagisa”. Hinano + Nagisa. Mm.

  6. pfft! If jp had his wizard’s wand, you KNOW he would have you by the ropes! MMMM-HMMM!!! :3

  7. Reminds me of how I got the Hinano path on my first play through of the Ren Ai Blogger VN.

  8. watch it!if its free the leechers will come and try to upload it on some websites. Good stuff though!

first thing i saw when i looked at this espically the last picture was this was a scene out of one of the old garfields(the fat cat) book. God, it must of been 1992/93 when i read this brat.trying to remember the book title ,but the dialogue i kinda remembered so i searched and found the text passage but not the visuals but my mate knows so i’ll find out. Best visual in the books.

Nermal: Garfield, are you threatened by the fact I’m so much smaller and cuter than you?
    Garfield: I’m bigger then that.
Nermal: You can say that again.
[next pic shows Garfield, arm outstretched, and Nermal a tiny silhouette in the sky]
Garfield: Let’s see how they like your rapier wit on the moon.

  9. Damn, competition.

    Isn’t it more that your fellow comicers (WAH aside) can’t actually draw ^^;

  10. It’s weird for me to read it left to right too, but I think because this is an English comic it has to be read that way right?

OR should I switch to the left to right standard in Japan??

Also that’s a golf club not a ladle, but I guess a ladle works too

  11. LOL… >_< Hope JP didn’t knock his head that hard as you internet-sphere Pangya him away. Love to see a follow up comic for this.. ^_^

  12. Some backgrounds would be great too; show us some New York places!

Maybe Impz or Aroduc can guest star as well.

  13. Remember Hinano, spousal abuse is bad enough for women, but men who get abused by their wives have difficulty reporting it.

Pangyas against Women: Australia Says No.

Pangyas against Men: Hilarious but debilitating to the men in question.

Anyway Hinano, I don’t do many backgrounds yet either but mainly because my webmanga is set in a white void of my imagination which is like that empty room in The Matrix.
