So they tried to be all serious business this week by going into Kakeru’s past about how 2 bad guys attacked Najimi on her way to school. They did this because she’s rich and they just wanted some ransom money. Kakeru managed to grab the gun out of their hands and shoot them. Because it was self defense and they didn’t actually die, I guess he wasn’t sent to jail or whatnot. However now everyone in school hates him and makes fun of him calling him a pervert and a loser. I mean this woulda been an ok story line except for…

The animation took a drastic nosedive. I mean look at her eyes. It looks like someone took a marble, smashed it with a hammer and then tried to put it back together again.   Also her shoulder looks like it could be a great letter opener. I don’t know, maybe it was always this terrible, but it just felt so awful, I suddenly felt more comfortable about my own drawing skills.   To make things worse, the grape soda loli from the horrible ending sequence showed up at the end of this episode, hinting that she will probably be coming next week.

The episode I downloaded had a little special at the end featuring seiyuus and those who sing the op/ed sequence. I didn’t watch the whole thing, but I did watch long enough to see the girl who sang the ending theme. Damn she sucks. Why did they pick her to sing the ending? Or did they tell her to purposely sing like shit like in the case of Mikuru Densetsu? Also while I like FukuJun’s voice, he’s pretty fugly lol. I’m sorry I know seiyuu’s aren’t judged by their “looks” but by their voice acting, but come on even Miyano Mamoru is pretty good looking. (I’m gonna get flamed for this by some fangirls but whatever, suck it lol.)

JP’s Thoughts:

You know, I really thought that Kakeru’s backstory was going to be some kind of joke or troll. It was so out there that I still really can’t process that his backstory really has him shooting some kidnappers.

Also, this episode had me at “paizuri“.
