Obligatory Tear x Luke screencap
So I finally caught up on Tales of the Abyss with episode 14. Actually the fact that I haven’t seen any new episodes posted in like 2 weeks helped a lot. What can I say, it’s reached its dragging point and it will probably drag until maybe episode 18 or 19 and then the action will start. It’s hard to continuously pay attention and take interest when I never played the game. At least Guy is getting over his fear of women by this point. It seems like at the end of every episode it feels like a cliffhanger but then it gets resolved in 5 minutes in the following episode as if it was incredibly insignificant and then we move on to the next story arc. Hopefully something interesting will happen soon – or at least won’t be so draggy that I have to wait another month before making a new post about this series.

haha I’m not really a tear fan in particular I just want SOME kind of romance in this show. and so far its just sooo draggy so yea I don’t know why i’m still watching this. I hate dropping a show so far in

I’m just a Yukana fanboy really :3 There’s really not much going for anyone in the show, but at least Tear gets to be adorable by trying to hide her blushing when she finds extremely cute things :>

Tales of the Abyss should pick right up around the mid-ending. Judging from where we are now…it’s 2-4 episodes away. Though we have at least one more major dungeon and possibly another visit to Belkend (and 4 more to Daath) before that.
I really don’t like Tear that much…her character feels like such a drag compared to everyone else. ^-^”"

No no, it’s hard to pay attention even IF you’ve played the game. I’ve taken to just being selective about the episodes I watch.

I just don’t pay attention when I’m watching this show. I’m pretty much still watching this solely on the LukexTear, NataliaxAsche moments, other than that it always seems like every other word out of there mouth is some ginormous gobledygoop about fonic technology this and that or yulia’s score which just goes completely over my head. At least if I had played the games I’d be able to know what they’re talking about.
