I have no idea what’s going on in this show so here’s a picture of a shota coping a feel.

So I’ve been watching this show weekly and while I really like the characters, the storyline is a bit goofy. The monsters they fight are a bit goofy too and this week’s gave me flashbacks of my first ever English book in America. It was interesting to see the flashbacks about why Hime always wears that goofy long scarf too. (I’m using goofy a lot aren’t I.)  What’s annoying is that they’ll flash back to say how she got a scar on her neck or whatnot but they won’t go into details about it. I mean can someone explain to me, is Hime a youkai or a human? She’s a youkai right? Cause I thought the only “human” was Akina and the other one is a hanyou. (Everytime I say hanyou I still think of Inuyasha orz)

The other annoying thing is Hime’s ridiculous determination. The old farts are telling her and Akina to cut down the nanago (those giant poles with the ropes on them) and with it destroy the town so that the WORLD IS SAVED! I’m like wait how the hell does this affect the world? I thought the evil Gin (whatever his name is) wanted to only destroy the town in revenge or whatever. I can’t help but think there’s something from the manga/novel/whatnot is missing here and it’s making the entire thing really confusing. Also Hime constantly being like I’M THE LEADER I MUST BE A SUPERWOMAN is getting annoying at this point especially when she gets slammed into the wall 5 times per episode. And what’s up with Akina? He seemed really cool at first, but now he’s like this big pansy and every week Hime’s like “YOU’RE JUST A PANSY WHO’S RUNNING AWAY YOU PANSY!” And then Akina looks all emo and does nothing until Aoi comes and tries make the 2 of them chillax.

I dunno it’s like the series is going somewhere, but in a sense it feels like it’s running in place, like the plot is on some kind of a treadmill with no off switch in sight.
