It’s been a while since I actually enjoyed more than maybe 2 shows per season but here I am Fall 2012 and I find myself watching 5 series!
And no I’m not watching the 2nd season of this abomination.

Yea so is Kishimoto just taking his plot out of fan theories? I had a funny feeling ever since they revealed that the 4th Hokage was Naruto’s dad but this pretty much confirms it.
Now all we need is for TenTen to be the last boss. 
(Yes I’m still reading Naruto and rolling my eyes but this just takes the cake.)
horizon in the middle of nowhere episode 6 was bad and you should feel bad
Well, I too got recruited to watch and write about a random episode of Horizon. I accidentally watched episode 5 by accident since I just went and watched the most recent episode on the date it was supposed to have aired without realizing that the Olympics had pushed it back a few days. So I am actually doing double duty and talking about both episode 5 and my assigned episode, episode 6. This also meant that I ended up with a little more background than I expected to have. Previously, my online background was the very first episode (which I promptly forgot everything from except that it had an incredibly exposition dump over the end credits to barely scratch the surface of the premise), and a few glances at Wikipedia and TV Tropes solely to say “lolololol this is nonsense lolololol.”

otakon 2012 postmortem, or; on white korras
Well, Otakon/Weebfest/Animelosercon/Homestuckcon/Adventuretimecon/Avengerscon/Anythingbutanimecon 2012 is over and I am home. Or rather, the con was over for me on Saturday afternoon when I came down with con flu and spent the rest of the weekend vomitting profusely and passed out in bed. Because of that, I missed a large number of the panels that I wanted to attend (The Abridged Series, Dubs That Time Forgot, The Art of Fanservice, etc.) and didn’t get to hang out with anyone.
